1. GENISTA RESEARCH FOUNDATION
A Malta-based foundation dedicated to empowering diverse communities through education, environmental initiatives, and innovative project management across Europe.
Established in 2002, the Genista Research Foundation operates from offices in Malta and Gozo, serving as a catalyst for sustainable development and social inclusion. The foundation specializes in delivering comprehensive training programs, managing EU and non-EU funded projects, and supporting the integration of minority groups and refugees into European society. With extensive experience in organic farming, environmental conservation, media production, and community development, GRF brings a holistic approach to the EUDiTi project. Their expertise in project coordination and multi-stakeholder engagement ensures effective collaboration across the consortium, while their commitment to empowering youth through education aligns perfectly with the project’s mission to enhance digital competencies among young Europeans.
2. UNIVERSITY OF WESTERN MACEDONIA (UOWM)
A prominent Greek academic institution recognized for excellence in ICT integration, multidisciplinary research, and innovation in energy-related technologies.
The University of Western Macedonia stands as one of Greece’s leading higher education institutions, serving over 30,000 students across seven faculties and 23 departments. With a faculty of more than 300 expert academics, UOWM excels in delivering undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs that emphasize the integration of information and communication technologies into modern education. The university has established itself as a hub for innovative, multidisciplinary research, particularly in energy systems and related technological fields. UOWM’s extensive involvement in national and European research projects demonstrates its commitment to advancing knowledge transfer and practical application of cutting-edge technologies. Within the EUDiTi consortium, UOWM contributes vital academic expertise in digital technologies, research methodologies, and curriculum development for higher education contexts.
3. UC LIMBURG (UCLL)
A leading Flemish university college offering practice-oriented education and research with strong emphasis on technology transfer and regional innovation.
UC Limburg (UCLL) serves approximately 15,000 students across Flanders, Belgium, offering over 30 professional bachelor programs and extensive lifelong learning opportunities in health care, social work, business management, and technology. Renowned throughout Belgium for its high-quality teaching standards and practice-oriented research approach, UCLL maintains strong connections with regional industries and governmental bodies. The institution has built its reputation on four strategic pillars: regional development partnerships, innovative blended learning methodologies, active internationalization through European projects, and effective technology transfer to local enterprises. UCLL’s consultancy services and continuing education programs for businesses and public sector organizations demonstrate its commitment to bridging academic knowledge with real-world applications. The University of Pitești operates as a public, non-profit institution fully accredited by Romania’s ARACIS quality assurance agency, providing comprehensive education, training, and research services across diverse academic fields. The university has established itself as a research-intensive institution, operating 20 specialized research centers that engage in numerous national and international scientific projects. With a strong commitment to internationalization, the University of Pitești actively participates in student and staff exchange programs and regularly hosts academic conferences, seminars, and workshops that bring together scholars from across Europe and beyond. The institution plays a significant role in regional and national development through its research outputs and graduate contributions to various sectors. For the EUDiTi project, the University of Pitești brings valuable expertise in educational research methodologies, cross-border academic collaboration, and the development of innovative learning resources for higher education students.
5. SOCIAL INNOVATION AND COHESION INSTITUTE
A Greek organization dedicated to fostering social change through non-formal education, promoting equal opportunities, and strengthening community cohesion across Europe.
The Social Innovation and Cohesion Institute champions lifelong learning and transformative social change by delivering non-formal education programs targeted at youth, adults, and professionals throughout Greece and Europe. The institute has built extensive collaborative networks with national and international organizations, enabling it to design and implement initiatives that enhance skills development, entrepreneurship, human rights awareness, and intercultural dialogue. Their work focuses particularly on promoting social cohesion and innovation through accessible learning opportunities that reach marginalized and underserved communities. The institute actively engages in diverse projects supporting professional development, volunteerism, equal access to education, and the integration of disadvantaged groups into mainstream society. Within the EUDiTi consortium, the Social Innovation and Cohesion Institute contributes specialized knowledge in non-formal education methodologies, youth engagement strategies, and inclusive approaches to digital skills development that ensure the project’s outputs are accessible and relevant to diverse learner populations.
6. EUROPEAN FOUNDATION FOR INNOVATIVE DEVELOPMENT
A Polish foundation advancing innovation, education, and sustainable development through lifelong learning, research initiatives, and collaborative European programs.
The European Foundation for Innovative Development dedicates its efforts to promoting innovation, quality education, and sustainable development across Poland and the broader European Union through comprehensive lifelong learning activities and strategic public service initiatives. The foundation actively engages in research projects, manages participation in various EU programs, and facilitates collaboration between public institutions, private enterprises, and civil society organizations to support modernization and social economy development. Their work encompasses diverse areas including environmental protection, combating unemployment and social exclusion, fostering business networking opportunities, and preserving cultural heritage. The foundation’s expertise extends to supporting the modernization of public administration and educational systems while promoting entrepreneurship and innovation-driven growth.
